We Provide comprehensive industry-approved drug testing specimen collector training and certification courses, including urine drug test collector training, oral fluid drug test collector training, and hair drug test collector training. In addition, our DOT drug testing collector training courses will qualify a specimen collector in accordance with 49 CFR Part 40. We also provide all DOT required proficiency mock demonstrations, in conjunction with our DOT Drug Collector Training Program. Our training courses are self-paced and upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate of certification/qualification.

40.33 What training requirements must a collector meet?
To be permitted to act as a collector in the DOT drug testing program, you must meet each of the requirements of this section:
(a) You must be knowledgeable about this part, the current DOT Urine Specimen Collection Procedures Guidelines, and DOT agency regulations applicable to the employers for whom you perform collections. You must keep current on any changes to these materials. You must subscribe to the ODAPC list-serve at https://www.transportation.gov/odapc/get-odapc-email-updates.
(b) Qualification training. You must receive qualification training meeting the requirements of this paragraph.
All steps necessary to complete a collection correctly and the proper completion and transmission of the CCF;
Problem collections (e.g., situations like shy bladder and attempts to tamper with a specimen);
Fatal flaws, correctable flaws, and how to correct problems in collections; and
The collector's responsibility for maintaining the integrity of the collection process, ensuring the privacy of employees being tested, ensuring the security of the specimen, and avoiding conduct or statements that could be viewed as offensive or inappropriate;
(c) Initial Proficiency Demonstration. After completing qualification training under paragraph (b) of this section, you must demonstrate proficiency in collections under this part by completing five consecutive error-free mock collections.

DOT Oral Fluid Proficiency Mocks
DOT Oral Fluid Proficiency mocks $199
Drug Test Collector.com provides the DOT-required Drug Test Collector proficiency mock collection demonstration every Tuesday and Thursday via Zoom. To be DOT qualified as a DOT oral fluid specimen collector, you must complete the training and perform 5 consecutive error-free mock proficiency demonstrations within 30 days of training course completion. Once you have satisfactorily completed the mock demonstrations a certificate of completion and Qualification will be issued.

This is a professional level training course that will provide the student with training for US DOT Oral Fluid Specimen Collections and Certification as a Trainer. This course will qualify you to train other individuals to be qualified collectors as US DOT Oral Fluid Specimen Collectors. The Train the Trainer Course will cover the following topics
Hair Specimen Collection
Hair Specimen COllector Training-$199
Our Hair Specimen Collector Training and Certification program will certify you in collecting hair specimens for long-term substance abuse detection purposes. This comprehensive course will cover the basics of hair drug testing and industry gold standard practices.
Independent Hair Specimen Collectors service private employers and substance abuse recovery centers. Hair specimen testing allows laboratories to determine long-term abuse with a standard hair test screening for abuse over the prior 3 months. (90 days)
Each laboratory has their own procedures and regulations for collection. This course certifies you in the procedures for the four major laboratories that process hair samples and provides best practices for hair specimen collection.
Note: Hair specimen collections are not regulated under the DOT. Training includes best practices for procedures and compliance for laboratories you may work with.
